About Me

Hi, I’m Denise!

I’m a CAPPA Certified Labor & Postpartum Doula, HypnoBirthing® Certified Educator, Lactation Educator, Childbirth Educator, Infant Care Instructor, and Sleep Coach. I offer care and support for all families at any stage of their journey to parenthood.

Using my years of personal and professional experience, along with current evidence-based information and resources, I’m able to prepare you for an easy birth, make breastfeeding an enjoyable experience, and have you caring for your baby like a seasoned pro!

Before becoming a Doula, I worked in many family-based fields. Starting in my teens as a babysitter for my neighborhood, I’ve always had a passion for uplifting and supporting families. I worked in infant and preschool classrooms and then spent over a decade as a para-educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District, specializing in Special Education for children K–6th grade.

After spending over a decade working with elementary-aged children, I was called back to my passion in infant and family care. I decided to become a Doula so I could support families from their very beginning.

Having experienced my own birth and postpartum, I know first-hand the struggles and worries new moms deal with every day. I’m here to help guide you through this process, offering encouragement and expert advice so you can feel confident in your new role as a parent.

I love being able to provide families with emotional, physical, mental, and informational support in a non-judgmental manner, while creating strong personal bonds that include loyalty, privacy, and trust.
